The CMA CGM Group invites a Master’s student to join the Container Fleet Procurement team in Marseille as an intern. You will work on data analysis, performance reporting, and procurement activities, gaining exposure to international operations.

Ideal candidates bring strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools, and enjoy working with multicultural stakeholders in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree and comfortable with data, reporting tools and performance analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI is preferred.
• Capable of analyzing data and KPIs and structuring information from multiple sources.

Internship - Container Fleet Procurement Analyst

YOUR ROLE

The Procurement team within the Container Fleet Department defines and implements the procurement strategy for the categories under its responsibility (seals and other security devices, spare parts for containers, and other services).

It manages tenders, contract negotiations and cost optimisation, while ensuring supplier performance and securing worldwide supplies. The team also contributes to the continuous improvement of processes and supports digital transformation projects related to procurement.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TODO ?

• You will contribute to the supply of reefer kits on board vessels and support the monitoring of related activities
• You will ensure that vessel allocation data is accurate and up to date
• You will assist in tracking allocation activities and preparing performance reports
• You will contribute to the monitoring and analysis of operational performance
• You will support the update and continuous improvement of internal procedures and instructions

WHO ARE WE LOOKINGFOR ?

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree and are comfortable working with data, reporting tools and performance analysis
• You are looking to gain experience in an international environment, combining operational procurement, supplier management and data analysis
• You have professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• You have advanced Excel skills and ideally knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI or equivalent
• You have a strong ability to analyse data and KPIs, and to structure, consolidate and interpret information from multiple sources
• You demonstrate an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, curiosity and a proactive approach.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are comfortable working with multicultural stakeholders
• You are well organized, able to manage priorities, and demonstrate adaptability in a changing international environment
• You are a team player with a service-oriented mindset and are able to communicate and explain complex analyses clearly.
