Job summary

Axens recherche un stagiaire en Process Technology & Digitalization pour rejoindre l'équipe Sustainable VGO Conversion & Hydroprocessing à Rueil-Malmaison. Vous travaillerez sur l'ingénierie numérique, analyse de données et modélisation pour améliorer les performances des unités industrielles.

Le stage, d'une durée de six mois, est à temps plein et s'oriente vers des solutions numériques innovantes, avec utilisation de Python et VBA.

Qualifications

• Étudiant en dernière année d'une école/d'un master en génie chimique.
• Stage de six mois à temps plein.
• Intérêt pour les solutions numériques et la résolution logique de problèmes.
• Bonnes bases en programmation avec Python et VBA.

Responsibilities

• Analyser les procédés industriels et comprendre les opérations centrales.
• Collecter et interpréter les données des cycles industriels pour améliorer l'efficacité.
• Contribuer à la création d'un nouveau benchmark pour évaluer les performances d'unités.
• Développer des modèles intelligents et prédictifs à partir des données.
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des outils numériques pour la modélisation des réacteurs et le reporting automatisé.

Context:

The mission of our Business Division (BD), Technology and Technical Support (T&TS), is to propose to our clients sustainable, low-carbon solutions, which are also efficient in terms of technologies / process, catalysts / adsorbents and services for the whole domains Axens is involved in (Biomass & Oil Hydroprocessing & conversion, Petrochemicals production & purification, Gas and Water Treatment, CO2 capture). In this Product Line Sustainable Conversion & Hydro processing, Chemicals Integration oversees technologies and products related to the applications Renewable Diesel, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Clean Fuels, Petrochemical Feedstocks and Specialty Products.

Tasks and activities:

Our Sustainable VGO Conversion & Hydroprocessing team is looking for an intern to help to continue revolutionizing our digital engineering platform. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, your main tasks will be:

• Analyzing Industrial Processes: Dive deep into the mechanics of our industrial units to understand their core operations.
• Harnessing Data: Collect and interpret vital data from our industrial cycles to uncover insights and drive efficiency.
• Building a New Benchmark: Play a key part in creating a next-generation system for evaluating and comparing unit performance.
• Developing Smart Models: Combine laboratory findings with real-world process data to build intelligent, predictive models.
• Creating Digital Tools: Design and implement new software for rapid reactor modeling and automated reporting that will be used by our engineers.

Profile:

• Currently in your final year of engineering school or master’s program, specializing in Chemical Engineering.
• Seeking a six-month, full-time internship.
• Shows curiosity for digital solutions and an appetite for logical problem-solving.
• Comfortable with programming, with a good foundation in Python and VBA.
