Job summary

Eurazeo is a leading global investment group offering an internship in the Venture Fund Management team within the Operations department.

You will support fund administration, contribute to NAV calculations, prepare investor reports, and assist with cash-flow forecasting under supervision of senior finance staff.

Reporting to Financial Directors and collaborating with Managing Partners, you will gain hands-on experience in portfolio management across multiple asset classes.

Qualifications

• University student in finance or accounting with strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with investment fund concepts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting is expected.

Team presentation

The Operations Department, consisting of around 70professionals, includes a team responsible for the financial management ofinvestment funds (Fund Management), a team overseeing portfolio monitoring andfinancing activities (Portfolio Monitoring), and a Fund Administration teamresponsible for the operational and administrative management of funds andinvestment transactions, all under the supervision of the Head of Operations.

The group manages over 140 funds across ten assetclasses, including Venture, Growth, Healthcare, Private Funds, Private Debt,Small-Mid Buyout, Mid-Large Buyout, Infrastructure, and Real Estate. Theinternship position open within the Venture Fund Management team.

The Fund Management team, specializing by strategy, isresponsible for:

• Managing the financial performance of investment funds,
  
• Executing investment transactions,
  
• Calculating the net asset values (NAV) of the investment funds,
  
• Preparing investor reports.

Reporting to the Financial Directors of each division,the Operations teams also oversee the financial management of each investmentstrategy, working directly with Managing Partners and corporate functionswithin the Eurazeo group.

Responsibilities

I - Management of investment funds and their portfolio companies throughout their lifecycle

• Significant contribution to managing capital calls and distributions,
• Preparation of complex investor reports and ad-hoc analyses,
• Support for funds’ performance calculations and forecasts, as well as cash-flow projections,
• Calculation of investment, legal, and tax quotas,
• Management of relationships with the custodians and auditors,
• Handling complex accounting processes (liaising with service providers for accounting management, NAV calculation, preparation of financial statements for funds and other investment vehicles),
• Significant contribution to transaction data entry into specialized systems.

II - Investment Operations Management

• Significant contribution to administrative and financial management of investment transactions (organizing closings, reviewing legal and financial documentation, payment execution, etc.)

III - Internal Control / Regulatory Compliance

• Provide support for internal controlactivities, preparation of regulatory reports, and coordination with Risk &Compliance departments.
