Job summary

Eurazeo is seeking a motivated intern for the Private Debt Direct Lending team in Paris to start in January or March 2027. The role offers strong exposure to buy-side private debt transactions, including evaluating, executing and monitoring deals.

You will participate in initial deal review, due diligence, financial modelling, and drafting memos, while building analytical, communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Solid academic record: pursuing a relevant Master’s degree in a top ranking school; engineers with corporate finance background considered.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Fluency in English mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Initial deal review and screening.
• Provide support and participate in due diligence and deal structuring.

With €9billion under management and an active presence in the European private debt markets since 2007, our existing team has completed over 200 deals in Europe, focusing on the small and mid-market segment (with enterprise values between €30 million and €1 billion). Eurazeo Private Debt can offer both investors and portfolio companies a full range of private debt products, such as mezzanine, unitranche and senior loan to suit every situation: transfers of ownership, capital restructuring, delisting, refinancing and growth financing.
We are a team of 26 investment professionals operating out of Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, Stockholm and Paris.
Within the Private Debt team, you will have responsibility for evaluating, executing and monitoring private debt transactions.

Responsibilities

I. DUE DILIGENCE & EXECUTION

• Initial deal review and screening
• Provide support and participate in due diligence and deal structuring
• Participate in the evaluation of potential investments and in drafting memos
• Participate in the creation and the review of financial models
• Provide analyses of companies and financial data, research
• Take part in the different committees / meetings with the various stakeholders (management meetings, consultants, lawyers, bankers, etc.)
• Actively involved in all the deal processes

II. AD HOC

• Provide help for other missions to be defined according to needs

Key success factors

• Solid academic record: pursuing a relevant Master’s degree in a top ranking Business School; Also engineering students with academic background in corporate finance will be considered;
