Job summary

Eurazeo Elevate offers interns the chance to participate in direct acquisition work in tech, B2B services and healthcare. You will review transactions, support due diligence, and help with structuring and financing while monitoring existing portfolio companies.

You will be part of the Investment Team based in Paris, Munich and London, contributing across analyses, memos and meetings with management and external advisors. Strong finance fundamentals and languages are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic background in a top-ranked school (Business/Engineering/Sciences Po/Dauphine).
• Strong analytical & quantitative capabilities & demonstrated excellence.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Autonomy, curiosity, initiative, reliability, and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic and financial analysis of investment opportunities.
• Draft Investment Committee memos and support due diligence.
• Build financial models including LBOs and scenario analyses.
• Attend meetings with management, consultants, lawyers and bankers.
• Value portfolio companies using multiples, DCF and sum of parts analyses.
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare reporting analyses.

It accelerates the transformation of companies through international and operational development with notably active buy-and build strategy to open new geographies or products lines creating more international and diversified platforms. Eurazeo Elevate targets majority investment with ticket size from €75m to €150m for a valuation ranging from €100m to €400m.

Responsibilities

Eurazeo Elevate offers interns the chance to engage in the direct acquisition of mid-sized companies in tech, B2B services & healthcare sectors. You will be involved in the review and evaluation of transactions, supporting the team in the due diligence, structuring and financing. You also have the opportunity to contribute to the monitoring of existing portfolio companies. You will be part of the Investment Team of Eurazeo Elevate based in Paris, Munich & London, composed of c. 30 investment professionals.
Primary responsibilities will include:

• Strategic and financial analysis of investment opportunities (market analysis, competitive positioning, business model…)
• Drafting of Investment Committee’s memos
• Financial modeling (business plan, operational model, LBO, structuring, financing, returns on investment, analysis of scenarios and sensitivities)
• Participation to meetings with the different parties involved (management meetings, consultants, lawyers, bankers…)
• Companies’ valuation: multiples of comparables, DCF, sum of parts…
• Monitoring of portfolio companies: build-up analysis, reporting analysis…

Required profile

Eurazeo seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, with strong analytical & quantitative skills and have demonstrated excellence in prior experiences. In particular, the successful candidate should have :

• Academic background: 2nd / 3rd year student in a top-ranked Business School, Engineering School, Science Po, Dauphine
• Previous experience in finance (PE, VC, M&A, TS) or strategy consulting
• Knowledge of corporate finance & accounting basics with interest for investment
• Reliability, curiosity and initiative
• Autonomy and multi-tasking
• Integrity and team spirit
• Fluent in French & English
• Mastering of Microsoft Office suite (Excel / Powerpoint / Word)
