Job summary

Axens propose un stage de 6 mois en ingénierie numérique pour le recyclage chimique, basé à Rueil-Malmaison (Île-de-France). Intégration dans le département Plastique Circulaire pour développer des solutions IA et de digitalisation appuyant les activités d'ingénierie et de capitalisation technique.

Vous êtes en dernière année d'école d'ingénieurs en Génie des procédés/chimie, avec un fort intérêt pour l'IA générative et la gestion des connaissances. Anglais souhaité et rigueur appréciés.

Qualifications

• Dernière année d'école d'ingénieurs en Génie des procédés / chimie.
• Intérêt fort pour l'IA générative, la gestion des connaissances et la digitalisation industrielle.
• Une expérience en gestion de données est appréciée.
• Bon niveau d'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit.

Internship - Digital Engineering for Chemical Recycling (F/M)

Context:
Plastic Circular Economy department is part of the Axens Business Division New Development & Transformation. It
aims at launching new plastic recycling technologies, from the R&D development stage, industrialization up to the
global commercialization of these technologies. The intern will join the technology team of this department, which
oversees developing the technologies and preparing technical proposals for clients willing to develop plastic recycling
projects. Among several technologies that Axens is developing in chemical plastic recycling, the intern will focus on
Axens Pyrolysis and Upgrading chemical recycling technologies and will contribute to projects aimed at enhancing
the accessibility, utilization and capitalization of technical knowledge through modern digital and AI-based solutions.

Tasks and activities:

• Knowledge Management
  • Review and analyze technical documentation related to chemical recycling technologies.
  • Contribute to the structuring and accessibility of technical knowledge to support engineering activities.
• AI & Digitalization
  • Design and implement AI-based solutions supporting knowledge management and engineering activities.
  • Explore innovative approaches to enhance the use and value of technical information.
  • Participate in the development and testing of AI-enabled solutions.
• Engineering Efficiency & Digital Transformation
  • Identify digital transformation initiatives to support engineering and business activities.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions aimed at improving efficiency, collaboration and access to technical information.
  • Assess the benefits and adoption of new digital technologies within technical teams.
• Deployment & Impact Assessment
  • Participate in the deployment of digital and AI-based solutions in an industrial environment.
  • Analyze user feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the definition of best practices supporting the adoption of innovative digital technologies.
  • Evaluate the impact of digitalization initiatives on engineering and business activities.

Profile:

• Currently in your last year of engineering school specializing in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a six-month internship.
• Experience in data management would be appreciated (through projects or internships).
• Strong interest in Generative AI, knowledge management, and industrial digitalization is required. Prior knowledge of chemical recycling is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willing to contribute to the development of the plastic circular economy.
• Good English level is needed (speaking and writing). Rigorous and proactive.
