Axens recrute pour son département Plastic Circular Economy un(e) stagiaire Recycling – Technology Group à Rueil-Malmaison. Vous rejoindrez l’équipe pour développer les technologies de recyclage plastique, en particulier PET, en collaboration avec IFPEN, Jeplan et Axens.

Vous serez en dernière année d'ingénierie chimique et réaliserez des travaux de simulation, analyses et études techniques et économiques. Stage de 6 mois en présentiel et contribution à la vie du groupe Axens.

Qualifications

• Étudiant en dernière année d'ingénierie chimique, stage de 6 mois.
• Bonne maîtrise des outils de simulation (Pro II privilégié).
• Intérêt pour le recyclage des plastiques et l'économie circulaire.
• Anglais lu/écrit nécessaire et capable de communiquer.

Responsabilités

• Réaliser une revue de littérature sur les technologies de recyclage des PET.
• Réaliser la simulation du procédé avec Pro II et/ou Aspen/HYSYS.
• Améliorer les outils de proposition (dimensionnement préliminaire des équipements, estimation des consommations et des coûts).
• Analyser les données d'un démonstrateur (balance de masse, paramètres opérationnels).
• Réaliser des études économiques et techniques.

Internship: Plastic Recycling – Technology Group (F/M)

Localisation : Rueil-Malmaison

Context:

Plastic Circular Economy department is part of the Axens Business Division New Development & Transformation. It aims at launching new plastic recycling technologies, from the R&D development stage, industrialization up to the global commercialization of these technologies. The intern will join the technology team of this department, which is in charge of developing the technologies and preparing technical proposals for clients willing to develop plastic recycling projects. Among several technologies that Axens is developing in chemical plastic recycling, the intern will focus on Axens PET recycling technology. This technology is jointly developed with IFPEN, Jeplan and Axens.

Tasks and activities:

• Literature survey

PET chemical recycling technologies: relevant scientific & marketing publications review, patents study & write up of synthesis document,

PET polymerization: focus on polymerization main parameters/ product properties/ PET grades specifications depending on final application & write up of synthesis document,

• Proposal Tools improvement

Simulation of the process with simulation software (Pro II / Hysys),

Improve the proposal tools including preliminary equipment sizing, energy consumptions estimation, cost estimate…

• Development of the technology

Data analysis of demonstrator unit operation: Mass balance consolidation / Main operating parameters impact on unit performance,

Technical Economic studies.

Profile:

• Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a six months internship,
• Solid knowledge in simulation software (Pro II preferable). An experience in simulation would be appreciated (through projects or internships),
• Willing to contriiute to the development of the plastic circular economy,
• Good English level is needed, (speaking and writing). Rigorous and proactive.
