Axens recrute un stagiaire ingénieur pour le département Plastic Circular Economy (PET) à Rueil-Malmaison. Vous rejoindrez l’équipe Technologie afin de développer des technologies de recyclage plastique et de préparer des propositions techniques pour des projets clients.

Vous serez en charge de surveys bibliographiques, de la modélisation du procédé et de l’amélioration des outils de projet, avec un accent sur PET. Stage de six mois, anglais nécessaire et travail sur site.

Qualifications

• Étudiant en dernière année d’école d’ingénieur en Process/Chemical Engineering.
• Doit être en stage de six mois.
• Bon niveau d’anglais (écrit et parlé).

Responsabilités

• Réaliser une revue bibliographique sur les technologies de recyclage PET.
• Modéliser le processus avec Pro II / Hysys et améliorer les outils de proposition.
• Réaliser des analyses de données sur l’opération d’un démonstrateur et les paramètres de fonctionnement.
• Contribuer au développement de la technologie de recyclage plastique au sein du groupe PET.

Context:

PlasticCircular Economy department is part of the Axens Business Division NewDevelopment & Transformation. It aims at launching new plastic recyclingtechnologies, from the R&D development stage, industrialization up to theglobal commercialization of these technologies.
Theintern will join the technology team of this department, which is in charge of developingthe technologies and preparing technical proposals for clients willing todevelop plastic recycling projects.
Amongseveral technologies that Axens is developing in chemical plastic recycling,the intern will focus on Axens PET recycling technology. This technology isjointly developed with IFPEN, Jeplan and Axens.

Tasks and activities:

• Her/his main tasks can be organized as follows:
  - Literature survey
  PET chemical recycling technologies: relevant scientific & marketing publications review, patents study & write up of synthesis document,
  PET polymerization: focus on polymerization main parameters/ product properties/ PET grades specifications depending on final application & write up of synthesis document,
  
• Proposal Toolsimprovement
  Simulation of the process with simulation software (Pro II / Hysys),
  Improve the proposal tools including preliminary equipment sizing, energy consumptions estimation, cost estimate…
  
• Development of the technology
  Data analysis of demonstrator unit operation: Mass balance consolidation / Main operating parameters impact on unit performance,
  Technical Economic studies.

Profile:

• Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a six months internship,
• Solid knowledge in simulation software (Pro II preferable). An experience in simulation would be appreciated (through projects or internships),
• Willing to contrii… to the development of the plastic circular economy,
• Good English level is needed, (speaking and writing). Rigorous and proactive.
