Job summary

Axens, département PET, recherche un stagiaire en procédés pour travailler sur les technologies de recyclage PET et rejoindre l'équipe de développement à Rueil-Malmaison.

Le stage impliquera des revues bibliographiques, des simulations et le perfectionnement d'outils de proposition, avec une exposition à des études économiques techniques. Profil: dernière année d'école d'ingénieurs, maîtrise Pro II/HYSYS et bon anglais.

Qualifications

• Actuellement en dernière année d'école d'ingénieurs spécialisée en Génie des procédés.
• Bonne connaissance des logiciels de simulation (Pro II).
• Anglais écrit et parlé requis.

Responsibilities

• Réaliser une revue bibliographique et l'état de l'art des technologies PET recyclage.
• Analyser la polymérisation PET et les paramètres clés et rédiger des documents de synthèse.
• Améliorer les outils de proposition et effectuer des calculs préliminaires d'équipements.
• Réaliser des simulations du procédé avec Pro II/HYSYS.
• Contribuer au développement technologique et à des études économiques techniques.

Internship - Axens PET recycling technology (F/M)

Localisation:Rueil-Malmaison

Context:

PlasticCircular Economy department is part of the Axens Business Division NewDevelopment & Transformation. It aims at launching new plastic recyclingtechnologies, from the R&D development stage, industrialization up to theglobal commercialization of these technologies. Theintern will join the technology team of this department, which is in charge of developingthe technologies and preparing technical proposals for clients willing todevelop plastic recycling projects. Amongseveral technologies that Axens is developing in chemical plastic recycling, the intern will focus on Axens PET recycling technology. This technology isjointly developed with IFPEN, Jeplan and Axens.

Tasks and activities:

• Literature survey
• PET chemical recycling technologies: relevant scientific & marketing publications review, patents study & write up of synthesis document,
• PET polymerization: focus on polymerization main parameters/ product properties/ PET grades specifications depending on final application & write up of synthesis document,
• Proposal Toolimprovement
• Simulation of the process with simulation software (Pro II / Hysys),
• Improve the proposal tools including preliminary equipment sizing, energy consumptions estimation, cost estimate…
• Development of the technology
• Data analysis of demonstrator unit operation: Mass balance consolidation / Main operating parameters impact on unit performance,
• Technical Economic studies.

Profile:

• Currently in your last year of engineer school specialized in Process/Chemical Engineering you are looking for a six months internship,
• Solid knowledge in simulation software (Pro II preferable). An experience in simulation would be appreciated (through projects or internships),
• Willing to contriiute to the development of the plastic circular economy,
• Good English level is needed, (speaking and writing). Rigorous and proactive.
