AXA Group Headquarters (GIE AXA) in Paris invites a Cyber modelling intern to join the Group Risk Management P&C team, focusing on actuarial analytics and cyber risk modeling. You will work with 11 actuaries dedicated to cat modelling, economic capital, reserving risk appetite, and underwriting risk.

• Must be an actuary or a student in a quantitative field with strong mathematical foundations.
• Good understanding of probability, statistics, and risk theory.
• Professional level in English and clear communication is required.

Responsabilités

• Dive into the Cyber retail model (Excel tool).
• Challenge existing scenarios and propose alternative approaches using claims data.
• Enhance and industrialize tools if needed (R).

You will join the Group Risk Management P&C, which ensures that P&C risks are appropriately measured, modelled, and monitored. GRM P&C’s main areas of expertise are Cat Modelling, Economic Capital, Reserving risk appetite, and Underwriting risk.

Within Group Risk Management P&C, you will join the Cat Man-made & Business risks team -composed of 11 people dedicated to actuarial activities- as a Cyber modelling intern.

Your Role And Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Dive into the Cyber retail model (EXCEL tool),
• Challenge existing scenarios and propose alternative approaches using available claims data,
• Enhance and industrialize tools if needed (R),
• Contribute to any technical analysis that may be required by the team.

YOUR PROFILE

Who You Are

• An Actuary, Master’s in Mathematics or Statistics, Engineer or Quant
• Expert in probability, statistics, risk theory, actuarial science
• Able to communicate in a clear and concise way with a professional level in English
• Rigorous, motivated, autonomous and proactive
• Prior experience in an actuarial department, knowledge of cyber risk, or proficiency in R are desirable but not mandatory
