Jobtailor in Marseille seeks a Market & Logistics Analyst to analyze pricing policies, monitor commercial performance and support strategic decisions across international logistics.

You will conduct market studies, work with Data/Business Analysis, and liaise with CMA CGM agents worldwide, bringing strong Excel skills and a global mindset to optimize freight management and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in business, supply chain, maritime transport, logistics or data/business analysis
Fluent English, written and spoken
Proficient in Excel: pivot tables, advanced formulas
Strong analytical skills and synthesis mindset
Curiosity for international trade and geopolitics
Commercial drive and negotiation skills
Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics
International experience or multicultural background

Responsabilités

Analyze pricing policies and propose recommendations with Market and Line Managers
Monitor line's commercial performance and variances to budget; propose corrective actions
Conduct market studies and competitive intelligence using industry databases
Monitor freight levels, capacity, competition and market trends across your zone
Produce regular performance reporting for line management
Prepare materials for commercial calls and steering committees
Process quotation requests and liaise with CMA CGM agents worldwide
Collaborate with network teams, agents and cross-functional stakeholders

Analyze your zone's pricing policy and propose recommendations in coordination with the Market Manager and Line Manager
Monitor the line's commercial performance and analyze variances against budget to propose corrective actions
Conduct market studies, including market share analysis, use of industry databases (Dataliner, CTS), and competitive and geopolitical intelligence
Monitor freight levels, capacity, competition and market trends across your zone
Produce regular performance reporting for line management
Help prepare materials for commercial calls and steering committees
Take part in processing quotation requests and liaising with CMA CGM agents worldwide as needed
Collaborate with network teams, agents and cross-functional stakeholders, including Customer Service, Reefer and OOG

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+4/5) from a business school, or in Supply Chain, Maritime Transport, Logistics or Data/Business Analysis
Fluent English, written and spoken
Proficient in Excel: pivot tables, advanced formulas, databases
Strong analytical skills and synthesis mindset
Curiosity for international trade, geopolitical dynamics and global markets
Commercial drive and enjoyment of negotiation
Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics
Second language: Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese
International experience or multicultural background
