Jobtailor in Bordeaux is seeking a logistics coordinator to oversee organization, optimization and execution of transport operations, ensuring on-time deliveries while respecting project constraints.

You will liaise with manufacturers, carriers, depots, sales teams, installers and customers, coordinate national and international transport, and manage incidents with a focus on cost efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, transport, freight forwarding or delivery coordination.
• Experience with shipping large, heavy, fragile or technical goods is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple operations simultaneously.
• Proven knowledge of organizing national and international transport.
• Good understanding of carrier and freight forwarder operations.

• Coordination of client projects and management of carriers and service providers.
• Management of incidents and disputes and monitoring of logistics performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, transport, freight forwarding or coordination of professional deliveries.
• Experience with the transport of large, heavy, fragile or technical goods would be particularly appreciated.
• Comfortable working in an environment where multiple operations must be coordinated simultaneously.
• Proven knowledge of organizing national and international transport.
• Good understanding of carrier and freight forwarder operations.
• Ability to negotiate rates and transport terms.
• Ability to manage several projects/files simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Responsive when facing unforeseen events.
• Ability to make quick decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of interlocutors.
• Good command of IT tools, tracking spreadsheets and management software.
• Professional working knowledge of English is desirable. Knowledge of Polish would be an advantage but is not essential.
