Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is offering a 6-month internship in Paris for a Financial Analyst in the FIG Coverage team. You will conduct sector and market studies, analyze financials, and support credit risk assessments and regulatory monitoring.

You will produce presentations, dashboards, and reports, collaborating with multiple Natixis departments. English fluency and strong organizational skills are required for this international program.

Qualifications

• BAC+4/5 level student in Finance or related field.
• Comfort with standard computer tools (Excel, PPT, databases).
• Basic understanding of CIB professions and banking/insurance sectors.
• Fluent in English and autonomy in a team setting.

Responsabilités

• Carry out sectoral and market studies, quantitative analyses and financial assessments.
• Assess credit risks and write credit reports.
• Monitor regulatory changes and client profitability.
• Produce pitches, dashboards and reports; support internal teams and senior bankers.
• Contribute to automation and enhancement of production processes (NAT1).
• Collaborate with Natixis departments and maintain CRM updates.

You are joining our FIG Coverage team, which is looking for a Financial Analyst, for an internship of 6 months from January 2027.

The Coverage department is Natixis' commercial unit that manages the overall relationship with FIG (Financial Institutions Group) clients and provides them with solutions across the entire range of CIB services.(M&A, Financing, Global Market, Investment Banking, Green, Portfolio Management, Asset & Wealth Management, Payments,...). It is organized in France and internationally around several divisions that meet the needs of our Industrial and SSA clients.

Coverage FIG (Banks, Insurance, AM, Hedge Funds and International Public Sector) is a member of the Coverage Department within Natixis' CIB. They bring together a team of about 55 people located in Paris and across the various international platforms of Natixis.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Carry out sectoral and market studies, quantitative studies, financial and strategic analyses;
• Assess credit risks, write credit reports;
• Carry out regulatory monitoring (Basel III and Solvendy II), monitoring the client’s budget and profitability;
• Intervention and support on business issues;
• Production of Pitchs Books, close collaboration with all Natixis departments and Seniors Bankers within the Coverage;
• Production of presentation support, agendas, action plan follow-up, newsletters;
• Support and monitoring of production topics;
• Participation in the operational tasks of the team;
• Modelling (in-depth analysis of certain counterparties, possible participation in certain executions involving FIG);
• Participate in the design and implementation of indicators and summary reports via CRM NAT1;
• Be a source of proposals tailored to the needs expressed by the various internal and external clients;
• Participate in the recurring production and administration of the various dashboards and reports, within the allotted timeframe;
• Being a driving force in NAT1 automation and making the production processes of costed items more reliable: designing requests, reviewing and improving existing items.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a BAC +4/5 level student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in Finance.

You are comfortable with computer tools (Excel, PPT, databases...).

You master the basics of CIB professions.

You have good knowledge of the banking and insurance sectors.

You have autonomy, commitment and initiative.

You master the management of several projects in parallel.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of listening and service.

You have mastered discretion and respect for confidentiality.

You have the tenacity to go deeper into topics and the requirement for quality work.

And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
