Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking invites applications for two ESG Analysts internships in the Green & Sustainable Hub. The roles begin in January 2027 and June 2027, offering exposure to ESG policy analysis, KPI development, and client engagements within a multidisciplinary banking network.

You will analyze CSR policies, develop sustainability indicators, and contribute to research and pitches, while collaborating with teams across the Green Hub.

Job Description

You are joining our Sustainable Finance team, which is looking for two ESG Analysts for 6-month internships, to be filled in January 2027 and in June 2027.

Within the Green & Sustainable Hub (GSH), Natixis CIB’s sustainable finance team, join the GSH Réseaux entity dedicated to SMEs and mid-caps from Banque Populaire et Caisses d'Epargne banks in its main missions:

• The origination and structuring of sustainable financing for banking network clients;
• Engaging with strategic clients on their ESG issues and integrating sustainability into their business models;
• Training and acculturation to ESG issues for banks' sales teams.

This internship will allow you to discover the world of sustainable finance on the banking side while deepening your understanding of ESG issues from a wide variety of economic sectors (real estate, distribution, agri-food...) and your ability to analyze corporate social responsibility policies. You will work in a dynamic team recognized for its expertise and innovation capacity, and will have the opportunity to interact with other teams of the Green & Sustainable Hub (Center of Expertise & Innovation, Syndication, Business Management).

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

Analysis of clients' CSR policies and commitments;

• Identification of their material challenges and proposal for ESG performance indicators;
• Analysis of the environmental and social characteristics of investment or infrastructure projects using references such as the European Taxonomy;
• In-depth thematic research and achievement of comparative benchmarks;
• Development of PowerPoint materials and participation in pitches and working meetings with clients;
• The intern is also actively involved in knowledge sharing and continuous training within the team:
  • Writing the weekly newsletter on sustainable finance news;
  • Contribution to training activities (webinars, case study presentations, etc.) for the banking network;
  • Animation of team life moments and the wider Green Hub community within the Caisses and Banks.
