Sanofi Group in Vitry-sur-Seine is offering a 6-month internship in Commercial Cell Culture Process Development within the R&D department. You will contribute to developing and understanding mammalian cell culture processes for monoclonal antibody production, working with diverse bioreactor technologies and supporting transfer and scale-down projects.

Responsabilités

• Participate with the R&D team in designing and executing cell culture experiments using lab-scale bioreactors and high-throughput systems.
• Analyze process data and relate parameters to performance to define operating ranges.
• Assist in improving laboratory processes and protocols and evaluate new technologies.
• Support development activities by literature reviews and gathering technical information.
• Prepare SOPs, study protocols and technical reports, considering Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to interpret results and translate into process recommendations.
• Present experimental results and conclusions to the project team and contribute to technical documentation.

Job title: internship 6 months cell culture process development Location: Vitry-sur-Seine Starting date: February 2027 About the job within our Commercial Cell Culture Process Development as a Cell Culture Process Development intern R&D department, you’ll contribute to the development, understanding and characterization of mammalian cell culture processes used for the production of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.

You will have the opportunity to work with different bioreactor technologies and contribute to projects supporting the transfer, scale-down and characterization of cell culture processes before implementation at manufacturing scale.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate with the R&D team in the design and execution of cell culture experiments using laboratory-scale bioreactors and high-throughput bioreactor systems, including sample collection and analysis
• Contribute to process data analysis and the identification of relationships between process parameters and performance, supporting the definition of appropriate operating ranges
• Contribute to the improvement and optimization of laboratory processes and experimental protocols, as well as to the evaluation of innovative technologies
• Support development activities by conducting literature reviews and gathering technical information
• Contribute to the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, study protocols and technical reports, integrating Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, analytical teams and manufacturing partners to interpret experimental results and translate them into process recommendations
• Take part in presenting experimental results and scientific conclusions to the project team and contribute to the associated technical documentation

About you

Soft and technical skills: communication, rigor, organization.

Skills in cell culture, bioprocessing and biological drug manufacturing

Education: bac +5 in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering or biochemical engineering

Languages: english fluent
