Natixis invites a Bac+4/5 student to join the IT GMR Trade & Sensitivity Repository team as a Developer intern for 6 months starting February 2027 in Charenton-le-Pont, France. You will work with Scala, Spark, Java, Hadoop, and other Big Data tools, within an agile, international setting with a team in Portugal.

You will learn to analyze and monitor daily treatments, anomalies, and volume alerts, and to design UI monitoring mockups while developing new features for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bac+4/5 in Computer Science, Big Data or AI.
• Experience or strong interest in Scala, Java/Spring Boot or Big Data tech.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an international team.

Responsabilités

Job Description

You are joining our IT GMR Trade & Sensitivity Repository team within the IT Global Markets & Risks department, which is looking for a Developer, for a internship of 6 months from February 2027.

The department, made up of 9 employees in Charenton and 2 in Portugal, is responsible for integrating, standardizing and daily calculating the sensitivities of all Natixis operations. The application relies on a technical stack composed of Scala, Spark, Java, Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Spring Boot and Angular.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Establish a good understanding of the architecture of the Big Data platform and its strategic role in the bank’s information system;
• Formalize the needs of the various stakeholders in terms of monitoring daily treatments, anomalies, and volume alerts, and design suitable monitoring screen mockups;
• Participate in the development and integration of new features to improve daily operations management and alert in case of delays or anomalies.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a Bac+4/5 student, you are preparing a university degree or an engineering school diploma, with a specialization in Computer Science, Big Data, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.

You have a first experience or a strong appetite for at least one of the pillars of our technical stack: programming (Scala, Java / Spring Boot) or Big Data technologies.

You know how to be proactive, listening and have a good sense of synthesis in order to formalize and visually translate the needs of users.

You appreciate teamwork and move with ease in collaborative and international environments.

And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
