Job Description

You will join the Amethyst team, responsible for an innovative application dedicated to monitoring market risks, which is looking for a developer for a internship of 6 months from February 2027.

This application analyzes sensitivities from mathematical indicators, thus allowing to follow in real time the transactions carried out by our traders. In an ever-changing Big Data context, the Amethyst application integrates its data from a data lake.

The team is composed of 1 manager, 1 lead squad, 1 tech lead, 3 developers in Paris and 2 in Porto, as well as 4 business analysts in Paris and 1 in Porto.

As a developer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and development of application software components within your scope, in compliance with quality, performance, and security requirements.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Define and implement technical solutions in accordance with specifications and ensuring compliance with security, architecture, and development standards, in close collaboration with business analysts;
• Create and update technical documentation for ongoing and future developments;
• Prepare, automate and carry out tests, including integration tests;
• Participate in the production support of the Amethyst app;
• Monitor deployments and developments.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

As a Bac+5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in computer science.
You have a strong interest in topics related to information technology as well as finance.
You have strong analytical skills and curiosity, with a focus on solutions.
You have knowledge in Java, Spring, Git, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Maven.
You are familiar with office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as SQL for querying data.
You are recognized for your excellent team spirit and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
