Sqills is seeking an experienced SaaS Solutions Consultant to translate complex business problems into scalable configurations of the S3 Passenger platform. • University degree in engineering, IT, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of S3 Passenger for customers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and product objectives.

Sqills is looking for an experienced business consultant/Saas solutions consultant that translates complex problems into simple and sustainable solutions that drive business results.

About the role and Sqills:

Sqills is a global leader in SaaS software for the rail industry, trusted by leading rail operators across Europe, North America and beyond, including major operators in countries such as France, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Our platform, S3 Passenger, is a leading sales and reservation platform for the rail industry, covering inventory management, reservations, ticketing, dynamic pricing and sales channels.

As an International Business Consultant/Saas solutions consultant at Sqills, you work closely with leading rail operators to translate their business processes and requirements into smart, scalable configurations of S3 Passenger. The role combines business consulting with real technical depth. Integrating S3 Passenger into a customer's IT landscape, from B2C, B2B and B2E sales channels to finance, CRM, revenue management and data warehouse systems, requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of both business processes and IT.

You will play an important role in our international growth by helping customers successfully implement and get the most out of S3 Passenger. This includes consulting, workshops and training, both remotely and at customer locations around the world. You'll be based in our Paris office in the city center, close to Opéra and easily accessible by public transport, with the flexibility to combine working from the office with working from home.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of S3 Passenger for customers, ensuring the solution aligns with both customer needs and S3 Passenger product objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing expert advice throughout the implementation and supporting the integration of S3 Passenger into their processes to ensure they make optimal use of its capabilities.
• Translate customer-specific requirements into clear functional specifications, while considering scalability and applicability across the broader customer base.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and demonstrations to support customers and internal teams in understanding and using new S3 Passenger features and functionalities.
• Work closely with development teams to identify opportunities to improve S3 Passenger based on customer feedback, requirements, and usage patterns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, supporting ongoing customer satisfaction and the smooth delivery and implementation of solutions.
• Identify opportunities for future business development through customer interactions, feedback, and a strong understanding of their evolving needs.

• Enjoys solving complex business and IT challenges and turning them into practical, sustainable solutions;
• Understands the public transport market and relevant consumer trends;
• Is curious about our customers' businesses and motivated to develop deep knowledge of both their business and S3 Passenger;
• Is comfortable challenging existing ways of working and exploring better solutions;
• Can connect business needs with technology and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders;
• Enjoys working internationally and is comfortable interacting directly with customers.

Your profile:

• You have a university degree, preferably in engineering, IT, business, or a related field;
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a consultant, business analyst, information analyst, or in a comparable IT-focused role;
• You are able to interpret complex problems and guide clients towards sustainable solutions;
• You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, and communicate in a client-centric way;
• Fluency in another language, such as Spanish or Italian, is a strong plus;
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus;
• You have experience translating business objectives and requirements into IT solutions;
• International experience is a plus, but an international mindset and willingness to travel are essential;
• You enjoy having varied responsibilities, working in small teams on challenging assignments.
