Kalray is offering an internship focused on developing an eBPF/XDP offload infrastructure for its high-performance network card. You will contribute to loading programs, managing their lifecycle, and implementing JIT compilation for a custom processor, while interfacing with the Linux kernel and embedded firmware.

The role emphasizes low-level programming in C, understanding processor architecture, memory management, and debugging at the software/hardware interface, in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• C development and low-level programming skills.
• Knowledge of processor architecture and memory management.
• Experience with GNU/Linux, kernel interfaces and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up host-to-card communication for loading programs.
• Manage lifecycle of eBPF/XDP programs on the card (load/attach/replace/unload).
• Handle eBPF maps allocation and access from host and embedded programs.
