Ariston Group is seeking a Mechanical R&D Design Engineer at our Chartres site to drive new product development and maintain existing lines.

You will link central R&D with local product teams, manage BOMs in SAP, and coordinate with suppliers through the full design lifecycle, from prototypes to serial production.

Strong CAD/PLM skills, GD&T knowledge, and travel willingness are essential, with English and French fluency desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of mechanical/industrial design experience.
• 2D/3D CAD design with SolidWorks a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems and PLM tools is a plus.
• HVAC industry experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Support NPD and maintenance projects for products in production.
• Design new mechanical components and modify existing products.
• Manage project documentation and product development activities in the PLM system.
• Create, maintain, and release BOMs in SAP with related documentation.
• Support prototype manufacturing and product industrialization.
• Serve as technical reference during prototype production and transition to serial production.
• Collaborate with Quality, Industrialization, and Manufacturing and liaise with suppliers.
• Work with lab teams during testing and approval processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements.
