Ariston Group is seeking a Mechanical R&D Design Engineer to drive new product development and maintain the current product range at the Chartres site. You will bridge central R&D and local development, guiding from design decisions to BOM management and supplier coordination.

You will work across Quality, Industrialization, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring prototypes are tested and transitioned to serial production. A strong focus on cost reduction and quality improvements will be essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical/industrial design experience.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD; SolidWorks a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols and manufacturing drawings.
• Familiar with welding, sheet metal forming, and machining; HVAC exp is a plus.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Fluent in English and French; Italian a plus.
• Willing to travel.

Responsabilités

• Support new product development and product maintenance projects.
• Design new mechanical components and modify existing products.
• Manage project documentation and product development activities in PLM/SAP environment.
• Create, maintain, and release BOMs and related technical docs in SAP.
• Support prototype manufacturing and product industrialization activities.
• Serve as technical reference through prototype production and validation phases.
• Collaborate with Quality, Industrialization, Manufacturing and suppliers.
• Coordinate with laboratory team during product testing and approval processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
