AKIEM is seeking an Infrastructure & Support Manager to lead IT infrastructure operations and end-user support across several European countries, reporting to the Group IT Director. You will drive reliability, performance and continuous improvement of IT services supporting business operations.

You will oversee distributed teams and external providers, harmonize processes, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity to ensure governance and security standards.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations or IT Support.
• Experience in international and multi-site environments.

• Knowledge of Microsoft environments and ITIL practices.
• Fluent English and French.

Akiem runs a comprehensive, certified Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) industrial ecosystem built around a pan-European network of workshops and extensive inventories of spare parts for the maintenance of the rolling stock supplied to its customers.

About the role

As part of the continued growth and transformation of our European IT organization, AKIEM is looking for an Infrastructure & Support Manager to lead and coordinate IT infrastructure operations and end-user support activities across several European countries.

Reporting directly to the Group IT Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of IT services supporting our business operations. You will oversee infrastructure and support activities, coordinate distributed teams and external service providers, and help establish consistent ways of working across the organization.

This position combines operational leadership, team management and service delivery oversight in a dynamic international environment. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will actively contribute to the standardization and maturity of IT practices, helping to strengthen governance, optimize support processes and enhance the overall user experience across Europe.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with a pragmatic approach, while building strong collaboration between local teams, central IT functions and key business stakeholders.

• Strong exposure to international and multi-site environments.
• Experience with service delivery, incident management and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of Microsoft environments, ITIL practices and infrastructure governance is a plus.
• Fluent English and French.
