Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager for Paris-based hybrid work. You will lead end-to-end IT infrastructure and cloud transformation programs within a heavily regulated banking environment, coordinating diverse teams and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

You will manage datacentre migrations, cloud adoption, security initiatives, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining strong executive reporting and project governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure project delivery experience, preferably in banking.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure programmes (datacentre, cloud, network, security).
• Strong governance, risk, and vendor management abilities for regulated environments.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex IT infrastructure and technology transformation initiatives within a banking environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end infrastructure projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and senior leadership to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strong experience delivering infrastructure programmes involving datacentre migrations, cloud transformation, network upgrades, end-user computing, cybersecurity initiatives, and regulatory-driven technology change within highly regulated financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, networking, security, cloud, architecture, and application teams.
• Drive datacentre migrations, technology refresh programmes, server consolidations, and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
• Oversee cloud migration activities across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Ensure governance, reporting, and project documentation are maintained to banking standards.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, operational risk, security, and audit requirements.
• Define and track project milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, resilience, and operational readiness initiatives.

Required Experience

• 8+ years' experience delivering IT Infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing infrastructure transformation programmes within Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated environments.
• Strong experience delivering projects involving:
  • Datacentre migrations
  • Cloud adoption and migration
  • Networking and connectivity solutions
  • Server and storage technologies
  • Virtualisation platforms
  • Infrastructure security initiatives
  • End-user computing and workplace technologies
• Experience managing project budgets, resource plans, and third-party suppliers.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and operational service management.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders and executive-level reporting.
