Jce Biotechnology is seeking an Industrial Project Manager to act as the central link between customers and internal teams within a regulated biotechnology environment. You will manage projects across commercial, technical and financial fronts to meet customer needs while safeguarding profitability and brand integrity.
The role involves coordinating proposal reviews, tracking orders, and leading kickoff reviews, ensuring delivery through to FAT support with Quality.
As a Project Manager, you are the central link between customers and internal teams within an industrial project management environment in biotechnology. You manage your projects on the commercial, technical and financial fronts, aiming to meet customer requirements while ensuring the company’s performance, profitability and brand image.
Your role as an industrial biotechnology project manager is to provide overall management of technical projects, from needs analysis through to final delivery, in highly regulated environments (pharmaceutical, hospital, containment equipment).
You carry out an in-depth analysis of customer specifications, taking into account internal standards, capabilities and company know-how. As part of industrial project management, you organize and lead Proposal Reviews, and draft and/or validate technical, commercial and financial proposals.
You assess the technical, organizational and financial impacts of each project, taking into account the constraints related to special-purpose machinery and pharmaceutical environments. You track orders and invoicing in coordination with the sales teams and the Industrial Management department.
You prepare and lead Kick-off Reviews, coordinate internal teams and ensure operations run smoothly through to delivery. As an industrial equipment project manager, you are the customer’s main point of contact: you ensure traceability of communications, manage overall communication and take part in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in support of the Quality department.
You provide regular reporting on your activity, ensuring precise monitoring of performance indicators, costs and deadlines, as part of overall technical and financial project management.
This role is suited to rigorous, independent and results-oriented candidates with a solid background in industrial project management and a strong customer service mindset. You are proficient in the design and manufacturing methods for special-purpose machinery, as well as costing and analysis techniques for industrial projects.
Comfortable in complex technical environments (automation, industrial processes, pharmaceutical equipment), you know how to structure proposals, analyze economic considerations, and manage several projects in parallel.
Proficiency in office and design software (CAD tools such as SolidWorks) is required. Your ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work on projects in biotechnology or pharmaceutical environments is a real asset.
With excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to bring stakeholders together around a project, take initiative, and ensure project success while meeting quality, cost and schedule requirements.
Occasional travel to customer sites should be expected, as part of project follow-up and validation phases.
This industrial biotechnology project manager role is a perfect fit for those who want to work at the heart of projects, combining customer relations, technical expertise and overall management, and actively contribute to developing high-value solutions in demanding environments.
