Job summary

Airbus SAS in Toulouse is seeking an Industrial Metrology Leader & Process Owner to join the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering team. You will own the global measurement framework and drive a measurement transformation, modernising equipment and empowering a transnational engineering community toward zero-defect manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a strong metrology background, 10+ years leading large, cross-border projects, and deep knowledge of ISO 10012, ISO/IEC 17025 and EASA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with strong metrology experience and ISO 10012/17025 familiarity.
• Minimum 10 years leading complex, transnational projects in aerospace or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own the global measurement framework aligning with ISO standards and EASA regulations.
• Lead roadmap for Future Metrology and deployment of modernised tooling.
• Manage the Process Management Team across international FALs and plants.
• Drive measurement transformation toward zero-defect manufacturing.

Your challenges

• Own the global measurement framework aligning with ISO 10012, ISO 17025, and EASA regulations.
• Lead the \"Future Metrology\" project defining roadmap, budget, and deployment of modernised tooling.
• Manage the Process Management Team (PMT) across international FALs and manufacturing plants.
• Implement Measurement Decision Rules to diminish technical non-conformities and concessions.
• Act as global authority representing Airbus Metrology before aviation bodies such as EASA.

Your boarding pass

• Background in Engineering, Quality Management or related field with strong precision metrology background.
• Proven track record in leading complex, large-scale transnational projects autonomously (10 years min)
• Deep understanding of ISO 10012, ISO/IEC 17025 standards and EASA regulatory guidelines.
• Strong executive engagement skills capable of influencing VP/SVP stakeholders.
• Negotiation level of English (proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is beneficial).
