ThrustMe, a growing space propulsion company, seeks an Industrial Financial Controller to lead monthly reporting, cost control, and finance transformation. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow visibility while supporting rapid industrial scaling.

Candidate will manage budgeting, forecasting, and KPI dashboards, acting as a true business partner with production and R&D teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in Financial Controlling, Audit, or similar roles in an international industrial environment.
• Advanced Excel skills with reporting automation and financial modeling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and improve monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reporting.
• Coordinate the monthly closing process with the Accountant.
• Monitor revenue recognition, project accounting, and cost allocation.
• Perform variance analysis and monitor performance against budget.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with reliable financial and operational analysis.
• Develop financial models to support operational and investment decisions.
• Implement and monitor cost tracking for industrial operations (production, R&D, supply chain).
• Develop operational KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Support inventory, capex, and project cost tracking.
• Act as a business partner with operational teams to improve cost performance and financial visibility.
• Review and validate Purchase Requests aligning with budgets and cost allocations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget governance.
• Strengthen financial processes and internal controls in a fast-scaling environment.
• Improve tools and automation for financial reporting and analysis; ERP reporting requirements.
• Support the CFO in Board reporting and strategic analyses.
• Contribute to grant reporting and funding monitoring.
• Support Finance transformation and cross-functional initiatives.

Founded in 2017, ThrustMe is a pioneering space technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for small satellites. We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high-performance, precision-engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 300 systems ordered to date.

To help us growth, we are now looking for a Industrial Financial Controller (M/F) to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for financial reporting, controlling, and financial process improvement. Working closely with the CFO, the role will ensure financial visibility, budgetary control, and data reliability while supporting the company's growth and industrial scaling.

The position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on execution, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving scale-up environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare and improve monthly financial reporting and management accounts
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reporting
• Coordinate the monthly closing process with the Accountant
• Monitor revenue recognition, project accounting, and cost allocation

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Perform variance analysis and monitor performance against budget
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing reliable financial and operational analysis
• Develop financial models to support operational and investment decisions

Operational & Industrial Controlling

• Implement and monitor cost tracking for industrial operations (production, R&D, supply chain)
• Develop operational KPIs and performance dashboards
• Support inventory, capex, and project cost tracking
• Act as a business partner with operational teams to improve cost performance and financial visibility

Process Structuring & Internal Controls

• Review and validate Purchase Requests to ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost allocations
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget governance, providing guidance to operational teams
• Strengthen financial processes and internal controls in a fast-scaling environment
• Improve tools and automation for financial reporting and analysisDefine and implement controlling and reporting requirements within the ERP

Strategic Finance Support

• Support the CFO in Board reporting and strategic analyses
• Contribute to grant reporting and funding monitoring
• Support Finance transformation and cross-functional initiatives

Your profile:

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of proven experience in Financial Controlling, Audit, or similar roles, in an international, fast-paced industrial environment
• Advanced Excel skills, with hands-on experience in reporting automation and financial modeling
• Adaptable and proactive, comfortable managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-changing business environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to challenge and partner with cross-functional teams
