Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting based in France. The role focuses on IFRS accounting and reporting across international markets, with ownership of technical accounting research, memos, and key reporting activities.

You will work on month-end close, consolidation, and external audits, collaborating with Finance leadership, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and business teams to ensure compliant, well-supported accounting conclusions; cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to apply standards.
• Experience assessing contracts for accounting implications (revenue and leases).
• Strong technical writing skills (memos, position papers, audit docs).
• Hands-on month-end close, trial balance, analysis, consolidations.
• Ability to work independently with multitasking and deadlines.
• Experience with external audits is valuable; public accounting preferred but not required.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Review contracts to determine IFRS 15 revenue and IFRS 16 lease implications.
• Research IFRS guidance and prepare memos and position papers.
• Support month-end close through balance reviews and analysis.
• Prepare consolidation entries and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end processes.
• Create audit materials and address auditor questions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, FP&A on transactions.
• Maintain accounting policies in line with new standards.
• Develop training materials for finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Promote consistent, well-documented accounting practices.
