Apex Group is seeking an Associate Accountant in France to maintain accounting records for multiple entities, prepare management accounts and annual statements in line with IFRS. You will handle journals, reconciliations, year-end closings, and liaise with external auditors to resolve queries.

The role involves coordinating tax filings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting clients with timely financial information and regulatory surveys.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for a portfolio of entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Process journals and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate year-end and periodic closing activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and resolve audit queries.
• Prepare tax computations and coordinate tax return filings.
• Support statutory filings with relevant authorities where applicable.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to obtain accounting information.
• Prepare financial information requested by management and clients.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting assignments.
• Prepare and submit financial and regulatory surveys and questionnaires required by regulators, government authorities and other statutory bodies within prescribed deadlines.
