Responsabilités

  • Lead HR governance, documentation and compliance with French regulations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HSE, Quality and Operations on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR administration at the Toulouse site.

Description du poste

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our aerospace manufacturing operation in Toulouse, France. The HR Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to the Site Director and leadership team while managing the day-to-day HR activities supporting a highly skilled manufacturing workforce.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth, operational performance, employee engagement, talent acquisition, workforce planning and organizational development.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the French employment environment and experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or aerospace environment. The individual must be comfortable operating in a hands‑on site‑based role while also contributing to broader company and HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner to the Site Director and site leadership team.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, production requirements and company growth plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness and people‑related decisions.
  • Partner with operational leadership to identify workforce requirements and develop plans to support production growth and changing customer demand.
  • Provide HR leadership during organizational changes, restructurings, business expansion and workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Develop HR metrics and reporting to support management decision-making.
Employee Relations & French Labor Law
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding employment policies, workplace practices and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure compliance with French labor legislation and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
  • Manage employee relations issues fairly, consistently and in accordance with company policy and French regulations.
  • Support disciplinary procedures, performance issues, grievances and other employee relations matters.
  • Partner with legal counsel and external HR specialists when appropriate.
  • Maintain appropriate HR documentation and personnel records.
  • Support required employee consultation and social dialogue processes.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Communicate company policies, organizational changes and key business initiatives effectively to employees.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee day‑to‑day HR administration for the Toulouse site.
  • Maintain accurate employee information and HR records.
  • Manage HR systems and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and French employment requirements.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HSE, Quality and Operations on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently implemented across the site.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, industrial or another complex operational environment.
  • Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Plant HR Manager or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of French employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried manufacturing employees.
  • Demonstrated experience with recruitment, workforce planning, talent management and performance management.
  • Experience working directly with senior operational leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
