Job summary

OW Ocean Winds in Paris is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage and deliver People initiatives, translate business needs into actionable plans, and oversee the implementation of HR projects to support organizational performance.

You will provide day-to-day HR support, employment law guidance, payroll data validation, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, learning coordination, and employee engagement, with a focus on collaboration and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar HR position.
• Strong knowledge of French employment law and payroll processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees.
• Offer HR and employment law guidance on individual employee matters.
• Support employee relations and social dialogue.

Roles at this level are responsible for managing and delivering People initiatives within or across specialisms. This includes translating business needs into actionable plans, overseeing the implementation of people-related projects to ensure effective support for organisational performance

Main Accountabilities

• Day-to-day HR support to managers and employees
• HR and employment law support on individual employee matters
• Support in managing employee relations and social dialogue
• Administration of personnel records and management of employee onboarding/offboarding processes
• Collection and validation of payroll variable data
• Coordination and monitoring of the training plan and related learning activities
• End-to-end recruitment management (needs assessment, sourcing, interviews, onboarding)
• Participation in cross-functional HR projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Organization of internal events and employee engagement activities
• Able to create, capture, preserve, share, communicate and apply knowledge so it can be effectively reused to strengthen individual decision making, improve team effectiveness and enhance business performance.

Academic Background

Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar HR position. Strong knowledge of French employment law, solid understanding of payroll processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.
