EC International Group in Rumilly, France, is seeking an HR Specialist Europe to drive HR strategy across its European entities. This broad, hands-on role covers recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll coordination and HR data reporting.

You will partner with managers across Europe, support organisational development and ensure compliant HR processes while fostering Team Spirit and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, Management or a related field
  • Experience across HR disciplines including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee development
  • Fluent French and professional English are essential, with other European languages a plus

EC International Group is a global player in Prototype Manufacturing & Low-Volume Production in plastic & metal materials for demanding industrial sectors including aerospace, defense & military, space & telecommunications, robotics, automotive, medical and energy.

As part of our continued international growth, we are strengthening our Human Resources organisation in Europe and are looking for an HR Specialist Europe.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director Europe, the HR Specialist Europe will support the development and execution of EC International Group's HR strategy across its European entities.

This is a broad, hands-on HR role covering the full employee lifecycle, combining operational HR responsibilities with employee development, performance management, recruitment, engagement, Team Spirit, manager support and organisational development.

The role goes beyond traditional personnel administration.

You will work closely with managers and employees across Europe, identify HR needs and people-related challenges, propose practical solutions and ensure effective follow‑up.

Your mission will be to contribute directly to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Define recruitment needs with managers and prepare job descriptions
  • Manage job advertising, sourcing, candidate screening and initial HR interviews
  • Coordinate interviews and participate in candidate selection
  • Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre‑employment requirements
  • Organise onboarding and support the successful integration of new employees
  • Monitor probation periods and identify potential integration issues
  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments and HR documentation
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding administration
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Monitor leave, absences, sick leave and other HR information
  • Collect and review payroll variables in coordination with payroll providers
  • Support salary reviews, bonuses, benefits and compensation processes
  • Contribute to improving and digitalising HR processes

Performance, Training & Talent Development

  • Coordinate annual performance review processes
  • Support managers in defining objectives and KPIs
  • Support performance evaluations and Performance Improvement Plans when required
  • Identify high‑potential employees and contribute to Talent Reviews
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training
  • Support career development, internal mobility and succession planning
  • Contribute to the development of managerial and leadership capabilities

Employee Relations, Engagement & Team Spirit

  • Act as an accessible and trusted HR contact for employees
  • Support managers and employees in people‑related situations
  • Facilitate communication and contribute to conflict resolution
  • Monitor employee satisfaction, motivation and engagement
  • Identify potential retention risks and recommend appropriate actions
  • Organise Team Building initiatives, internal events and employee activities
  • Promote collaboration between departments, countries and locations
  • Strengthen employees' sense of belonging to EC International Group

Employment Law & HR Compliance

  • Support compliance with employment legislation and HR procedures
  • Monitor relevant employment‑law developments
  • Support disciplinary and termination processes when required
  • Coordinate with external employment lawyers and HR advisers
  • Identify HR and employment‑related risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Support employee‑data confidentiality and HR compliance

Given the European scope of the position, you are not expected to personally master employment law in every European country, but you must be able to identify risks and work effectively with appropriate local specialists.

HR Organisation, KPI & Reporting

  • Support the development and harmonisation of European HR policies and processes
  • Maintain job descriptions and organisational charts
  • Help clarify roles, responsibilities and organisational structures
  • Develop and maintain an HR Dashboard Europe
  • Monitor key HR indicators including headcount, recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, payroll costs, training, performance and engagement
  • Transform HR data into clear and actionable information for Management
  • Advise managers on recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and employee relations
  • Support managers in handling underperformance and sensitive employee situations
  • Help managers strengthen communication, leadership and Team Spirit
  • Constructively challenge managers when necessary
  • Support the Human Resources Director Europe in workforce planning and organisational development
  • Participate in HR transformation projects
  • Support the integration of new entities and potential acquisitions
PROFILE REQUIRED:

You are the right candidate if you have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Business Partner or similar role
  • Broad hands‑on experience across several HR disciplines
  • Strong recruitment and onboarding experience
  • Experience in personnel administration and payroll processes
  • Experience in performance management and employee development
  • Experience supporting managers on HR and employee‑related matters
  • Good knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience within an international and/or multi‑site organisation
  • Strong HR reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Experience using HRIS, ATS or other HR management systems
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, Management or a related field

Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or B2B environment would be a strong advantage.

Experience within a fast-growing or international organisation, particularly involving organisational transformation or acquisitions, would also be highly valued.
