IXO Labs seeks a remote health-economic expert to develop economic evaluations, review HTA reasoning, and interpret results with rigorous methodology. You will work on cost-effectiveness and budget-impact analyses, ensuring transparent assumptions and clear conclusions.

The role requires an MS/MPH/PhD with at least three years in health economics or outcomes research, plus hands-on modeling in R, TreeAge, Excel/VBA, Stata or SAS, and fluent English.

Develop health-economic evaluations and assess their assumptions, methods and interpretation. Review cost-effectiveness, budget-impact, outcomes or HTA reasoning within your expertise, explain reference analyses and identify conclusions that the evidence does not support.

Practice scope

Health-economic preparation, hands-on modeling and outcomes-research experience are central to this role.

Professional background

You need a relevant MS, MPH or PhD, at least three years in health economics or outcomes research and direct economic-model building experience. Clearly explain methodological choices in English and plan for ten hours weekly.

Preferred experience

Preferred experience includes economic-evaluation publications or ISPOR participation; submissions to NICE, ICER, CADTH, PBAC, IQWiG or AMCP; modeling in R, TreeAge, Excel/VBA, Stata or SAS; and work with claims/EHR resources such as Medicare, MarketScan, Optum, IQVIA, SEER-Medicare or Flatiron. Chart, utilization or quality review can add relevant context.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

Pay $95 $160/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
