Job summary

Pennylane is seeking a Lead Payment Operations in Paris to own the end-to-end payment operations across SEPA, cards, and international transfers. This high-autonomy role reports to the General Manager of Pennylane Financial Services and sits at the heart of a greenfield regulatory project.

You will partner with Product, Tech, Compliance and external partners to design scalable processes, establish controls, and guide a growing team from 3 to around 10 members while maintaining strong customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments operations, financial operations or risk in a regulated or high-volume environment.
• Strong exposure to SEPA transfers, direct debits, cards and related rails.
• Experience designing scalable processes, runbooks and controls.
• Ability to manage incidents end-to-end and drive preventive actions.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Product, Tech, Compliance and Risk.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payment operations execution across SEPA transfers, cards and international transfers.
• Define and improve the operating model, SLAs, runbooks and documentation.
• Act as operational escalation point for incidents with triage and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate external partners and internal stakeholders to protect customer experience.
• Build and scale the payments function while maintaining controls and risk management.
