  • Work with the Strategy and Research Team to incorporate independent strategic fit, portfolio impact and transaction-thesis review into decision materials.
  • Work with the Board / IC Secretary to ensure transaction materials, approvals, decision records and meeting timing are complete and appropriately coordinated.
  • Ensure transaction execution remains within the approved mandate and that material changes in economics, structure, risk or conditions are escalated for renewed decision where required.

  • Provide complete transaction records and execution learnings to support the Strategy and Research Team's after-action review of completed deals and their effect on the portfolio.

Deal Process, Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the central coordinator for transaction execution across internal stakeholders, counterparties and external advisers, with clear ownership of next steps and deadlines.
  • Establish disciplined deal documentation, data-room, decision-log and information-management practices appropriate to confidential transaction processes.
  • Maintain a clear distinction between transaction execution ownership, independent strategic review, governance decision-making and post-deal business execution.

Team Leadership & Functional Excellence

  • Lead, coach and develop the M&A and Deal Team; allocate resources across origination and live transactions and maintain clear accountability for quality, pace and outcomes.
