Mistral AI in Paris, France is seeking a Director of Internal Control to build and lead a new internal control function within the Finance team. You will design COSO-aligned controls across procurement, payroll, and subsidiary oversight to safeguard financial integrity as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Experience building a control function from scratch or in a growing team.
• Expertise in COSO frameworks, risk identification, and process design.
• Ability to translate risks to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design and deploy a risk-based internal control system.
• Integrate controls into supplier approvals, cash management, and datacenter operations.
• Automate and optimize controls with ERP and AI/ML tools for real-time monitoring.
• Partner with Legal and CISO to build a company-wide risk matrix and remediation protocols.
• Coordinate external audits for regulatory readiness and investor due diligence.
• Build and manage a high-impact internal control team.
• Maintain control documentation and escalate gaps to leadership.
