Mistral AI seeks a Director of Internal Control to design and deploy a COSO-aligned control framework across finance, procurement, payroll, and compliance. You will automate monitoring using ERP and AI/ML tools, partnering with Legal and CISO to drive risk mitigation and governance for a growing global footprint.

You will lead a team, embed controls in critical processes, and report on control effectiveness while preparing the company for audits and investor due diligence.

Qualifications

• Strong background in internal control and audit, with experience building or growing a control function.
• Familiarity with COSO frameworks, risk identification and process design.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach to controls and process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Design and deploy a COSO-aligned internal control framework covering financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Embed controls into key workflows (procurement, payroll, subsidiaries) and train teams.
• Automate controls with ERP systems and AI/ML tools, develop dashboards.
• Lead risk assessment, mitigate high-risk areas, and coordinate audits.
• Ensure readiness for regulatory reviews and investor due diligence.
• Build and manage a high-impact internal control team.
• Maintain control documentation and report on remediation and effectiveness.
