Plenitude seeks a Head of Engineering in Paris to lead the engineering function for renewable energy projects, including PV, wind, and BESS. You will set priorities, guide the team, and ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery across the portfolio.

The role requires an engineering degree and proven leadership in large-scale projects, with strong knowledge of French regulations and international standards. Fluency in French and English is essential; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with extensive renewable energy experience (PV, wind, BESS).
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing external partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the Engineering team, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery across the project portfolio.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across development, construction, commissioning, and operations of PV, wind, and BESS projects.
• Review and arbitrate technical solutions and project assumptions to ensure robustness, cost-efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate external engineering consultants, advisers, and contractors to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define and maintain technical standards, procedures, and best practices for the French organisation and comply with regulations and grid requirements.
• Ensure alignment with Group/HQ Engineering while adapting to French market and regulatory needs.
• Support key milestones (RTB, tendering, FID, construction, commissioning) with technical recommendations and documented decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across the portfolio using lessons learned.
