Eni Plenitude Renewables France seeks a Head of Engineering to lead the Engineering team and govern the French renewable portfolio. The role reports to the Head of Projects and Construction and drives technical governance across PV, wind, and BESS projects.

Based in Paris, you will define standards, manage external consultants, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting key milestones from development through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with extensive renewable energy experience including utility-scale PV, wind and BESS.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; Italian would be advantageous.
• Experience leading engineering teams and providing technical governance.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the Engineering team, setting priorities and delivering engineering activities.
• Provide technical leadership across development, construction, commissioning, and operations of PV, wind, and BESS projects.
• Review and arbitrate technical solutions to ensure robustness, cost-effectiveness and alignment with objectives.
• Coordinate external engineering consultants, advisers, and contractors to meet budgets and schedules.
• Define and maintain technical standards, procedures and best practices for the French organisation.
• Ensure alignment with Group/HQ Engineering while adapting to French market requirements.
• Support milestones including RTB, tendering, FID, construction, and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across the portfolio.
