Eni Plenitude Renewables France is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the engineering team and govern the technical delivery of the French renewable portfolio, including PV, wind and BESS projects.

Reporting to the Head of Projects and Construction, the role requires strong leadership, deep technical know-how, and the ability to navigate French regulations while coordinating with internal groups and external consultants to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective project execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with renewable energy experience.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Expertise in PV, wind and BESS projects.
• Fluent in French and English; Italian a plus.
• Knowledge of French regulations and international standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering team and manage priorities, resources, and delivery.
• Provide technical governance across development, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Review technical solutions and arbitrate between alternatives.
• Coordinate external consultants and contractors.
• Define technical standards for the French organisation.
• Align with Group/HQ engineering and adapt to French market.
• Support milestones: RTB, tendering, FID, construction, commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation.
