Quadient is seeking a visionary Head of Development to guide multiple engineering teams delivering secure, scalable e-Invoicing solutions. You will shape technical strategy, empower leaders, and align delivery with product objectives across international markets.

Job Description

We're looking for an inspiring technology leader to drive the future of Quadient's e-Invoicing solutions.

As Head of Development, you'll lead multiple engineering teams responsible for delivering innovative, secure, and scalable products that help organizations automate critical business communications. You'll shape the technical strategy, empower engineering leaders, and ensure your teams deliver solutions that create real value for customers across international markets.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work closely with Product Management, Architecture, Customer Success, and executive leadership to define product direction, accelerate innovation, and build high-performing engineering teams.

Lead and develop multiple engineering teams delivering Quadient's e-Invoicing solutions.

Define the engineering strategy and execution roadmap aligned with business and product objectives.

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and collaboration.

Partner closely with Product Management and Architecture to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.

Drive predictable delivery, quality, and operational excellence across multiple development teams.

Identify risks early, remove delivery obstacles, and continuously improve engineering processes.

Coach and mentor engineering managers and technical leaders, supporting their professional growth.

Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment across products, technology, and business priorities.

Manage departmental planning, resource allocation, KPIs, and engineering performance.

Champion modern engineering practices and help shape the future of Quadient's Digital R&D organization.

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading software engineering or R&D organizations in a technology-driven environment.

Proven success managing multiple engineering teams through engineering managers.

Strong background in software development, product delivery, and Agile engineering practices.

Experience defining engineering strategy while remaining focused on execution and delivery.

Ability to build high-performing, engaged teams and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience partnering across Product, Architecture, and executive leadership.

Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, technical strategy, and delivery priorities.

Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and engineering performance metrics.

Excellent communication and leadership skills in an international environment.

Fluent English and French.
