Job summary

Sorontar, a French engineering and production company, seeks a leader to set up its first pilot line and recruit a team to drive series production. You will shape design methods, quality control, and supplier selection for in-house built machines from day one.

You will recruit your own team and work closely with leadership and software teams as Sorontar scales from pilot line to a full factory, delivering reliable, high-rate manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Specialized in design or production and able to take complex mechanical products from prototype to series production.
• Experience leading an engineering team is preferred.
• Proficiency in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Set up the first pilot line with in-house built machines and define production setup.
• Define design methods, quality control, subcontractors, and assembly processes.
• Recruit your own team from day one and grow the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership and the software team to improve the setup and tooling.
• As production scales, transition from pilot line to full factory.
