Job summary

CHANEL in Paris offers a 6-month Haute Couture internship for fashion design enthusiasts. Based in Paris, the role focuses on finishing, volume research, and production of 3D mock-ups, aligning with the brand’s Haute Couture standards.

You will participate in inspiration research and collaborate with Workshops, Handling, and Operations to ensure high-quality samples and textile exploration.

Qualifications

• You have studied at a fashion and design school and seek an internship in fashion design with Haute Couture affinity.
• You have a keen eye for finishing and detail and completed internships in creative studios on Haute Couture projects.
• You are adaptable, creative, curious and eager to contribute to a studio’s operations.
• You have technical knowledge of Haute Couture design including drawing, research and sewing.
• You are proficient with digital tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, French or Italian.

Responsibilities

• Finishing and volume research.
• Production of 3D mock-ups.
• Participate in inspiration research based on collection themes.
• Liaison with Workshops, Handling, Operations.
• Material testing according to the designers' brief.
• Design of samples and textile research.
• Management of fabric and parts shipments.
• Prototype and development follow-up with Operations.
