Job summary

CHANEL in Paris is seeking an Intern for Haute Couture collections to support designers in finishing, volume research and the production of 3D mock-ups. You will participate in inspiration research and liaise with Workshops, Handling and Operations, while testing materials per designer briefs.

You will design samples, conduct textile research, and manage fabric shipments. A portfolio should be attached with your application, and candidates should have Haute Couture experience or strong interest.

Qualifications

• Sought-after interns studied fashion/design and seek Haute Couture internship.
• Strong eye for detail and finishing; prior internships in creative studios are a plus.
• Adaptable, creative, curious; eager to contribute to a studio environment.
• Technical knowledge of Haute Couture design (drawing, research, sewing).
• Proficient with digital tools, especially Adobe suite.
• Fluent in written/spoken English, French, or Italian.

Responsibilities

• Finishing and volume research.
• Production of 3D mock-ups.
• Inspiration research based on collection themes.
• Liaison with Workshops, Handling, Operations.
• Material testing according to designer brief.
• Design of samples and textile research.
• Management of fabric and parts shipments.
• Prototype and development follow-up with Operations.
