Job summary

Alta Ares is seeking a talent acquisition professional to lead end-to-end recruitment for its hardware and engineering teams. You will build proactive sourcing strategies, headhunt for electronics, mechanical, embedded systems and FPGA roles, and partner with leaders to define requirements.

With 2–5 years in recruitment, you will drive hiring in defense and aerospace sectors, manage the full process from outreach to offers, and actively build engineering talent networks to support Alta Ares'

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruitment experience
• Proven track record recruiting hardware and engineering talent
• Excellent hands-on sourcing and headhunting skills
• Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Data-driven approach using recruitment metrics
• Entrepreneurial, autonomous and fast-paced
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in both English and French (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Alta Ares' Hardware and Engineering teams, focusing on critical technical roles across R&D, Production and Industrialization.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for key hardware profiles.
• Drive hands-on sourcing and headhunting to attract high-impact technical talent from defense, aerospace and other advanced hardware industries.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D and Production leaders to define role requirements and hiring priorities.
• Manage the full recruitment process, from outreach to offer negotiations.
• Develop understanding of Alta Ares' hardware technologies and industrial ambitions to assess candidates.
• Build pipelines across defense contractors, aerospace, deep-tech startups and technical networks.
• Track recruitment KPIs and continuously improve sourcing and hiring efficiency.
• Strengthen Alta Ares' employer brand through targeted outreach and events.
• Support recruitment across other functions when needed.
