Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging abilities.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, pipelines, and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication to translate architectures into business value.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for your accounts from discovery through deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions—design scalable, production-grade solutions for data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks’ differentiation through custom-built solutions.
• Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization (archetype) for your team.
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Influence product direction by providing structured feedback on requirements and competitive gaps.
