Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for the EMEA Startups team in France with a hybrid schedule in the Paris region. You will engage founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering/Data and technical leaders to identify use cases, shape modern data and AI architectures, and help customers adopt the Databricks platform.

As a technical leader, you will drive discovery, develop solution architectures, demonstrate value, and guide proofs of concept while partnering with Account Executives to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, consulting or equivalent role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on programming in Python, SQL, Scala or Java.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Startups Account Executives to build and execute technical account strategy for acquiring new logos and growing Databricks consumption.
• Engage founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering/Data, architects and technical practitioners in consultative discovery.
• Lead the technical sales motion from discovery through evaluation: define success criteria and architecture, deliver demonstrations, and guide proofs of concept.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, ML, GenAI and cloud-native workloads.
• Prioritize high-value engagements using consumption signals and customer context to create relevant views.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering and Services teams to remove blockers and accelerate adoption.
