Technip Energies in Nanterre/La Défense seeks a Subcontract Manager to join our Subcontract team. The role involves long-term expatriation to construction sites for projects in the UK, USA, Middle East, or Asia.

You will lead subcontract strategy, manage processes, negotiate and award subcontracts, and oversee field administration through closeout. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in subcontracting across home office and site execution, with engineering/estimation experience and fluent English.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience in subcontracting activities, with both Home Office and Site execution.
• Experience in engineering, estimation, civil engineering or process design is a plus.
• Engineer grade with a good understanding of Oil & Gas environment and technical disciplines (civil, piping, equipment, electrical, instrumentation).
• Strong team management skills with experience managing a team hierarchically.
• Good interpersonal and influential skills and fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the subcontracting management strategy development.
• Implement and perform subcontracting management processes (including prime contract flow down, procedures issuance, bidder long list, master bid package, construction manhours estimate, evaluation of subcontractors).
• Perform negotiation, formation, and award of formal subcontracts.
• Ensure field administration of subcontracts (change orders, back-charges management, invoicing, contractual letters) until closeout.
• Protect Technip Energies from claims, disputes and arbitration.
• Manage a team of 5-10 Subcontract Engineers, coordinate activities and develop competencies.
