Job summary

MicroPort CardioFlow, based in Clamart, France, seeks a Strategic Buyer to manage key purchasing categories within our Global Purchasing organization. You will define sourcing strategies and lead supplier selections to support cost competitiveness and continuity, across an international network.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic purchasing, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and fluency in English. Travel may be required as part of duties in a global context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Purchasing/Supply Chain.
• At least 5 years of strategic purchasing experience in international industrial environment.
• Medical Device or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Strong sourcing strategy, supplier management, negotiation, cost management and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and collaboration skills; able to influence across functions.
• Fluent English; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement mid- and long-term category strategies aligned with the Global Purchasing strategy.
• Identify, assess and select the most appropriate suppliers worldwide; lead RFx processes and negotiations.
• Develop strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers; drive improvement plans for quality, delivery and performance.
• Drive cost reduction and value creation through sourcing, supplier development and technology transfers.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks related to capacity, single sourcing, financial health and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other functions across the organization.
