GE Vernova is seeking a senior procurement professional to help define and optimize supplier strategies for electrical equipment. You will negotiate contracts, support tendering and execution, and lead supplier qualification efforts while coordinating with internal stakeholders across the global supply chain.

The role requires strong negotiation and sourcing skills, 5+ years in project/technical procurement, and the ability to influence organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in project, technical and sourcing roles, ideally HVDC.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related field.
• Extensive sourcing experience with global and local frame agreements.
• Proven track record of influencing organizations to high performance.
• Excellent negotiation and sourcing skills, a drive for results.

Responsabilités

• Define supplier strategy and optimize supplier panels.
• Support global supplier strategy for electrical equipment.
• Negotiate contracts and bids during tendering and execution.
• Contribute to supplier qualification processes.
• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to suppliers.
• Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.
• Includes data analysis and purchasing activities as needed.
• Utilize deep discipline knowledge and analytical thinking to apply strategy.
• Act as resource for less experienced colleagues.
• May lead small projects with limited risk and resources.
• Exercise judgment and propose solutions beyond set parameters.
• Prioritize information for data analysis and decision making.
