GE Vernova in France is seeking a Primary Designer to lead a geographically diverse team of designers, sub-contractors, engineers and project teams on HV equipment layouts, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.

You will oversee basic and detailed design activities, coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders, and drive coordination with partners to meet project goals while maintaining ease of installation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in project & EPC environments in T&D, Power Gen or Oil & Gas.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontracted design work.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution industry.

Responsabilités

• Establish required documents for field activity based on tender and contract analysis.
• Ensure on-time design delivery including Partner documents to stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate design team across activities.
• Manage detailed execution progress and short-term plan.
• Coordinate technical coordination meetings with partners or suppliers when appropriate.
